Frequently Asked Questions

What is a home warranty?

An Evercare Protection Warranty is a service contract that covers your home systems and appliances when they break down — Different from homeowners insurance plans, not a substitute for it.

How is a Evercare Protection Warranty different from my homeowners’ insurance?

Unlike homeowner’s insurance, an Evercare Protection Home Warranty is a service contract that covers essential applications and home system components when they break down due to normal wear and tear – items that most homeowners insurance plans do not cover. Consider it the perfect complement to homeowners’ insurance, not a substitute for it. Enjoy the peace of mind of an Evercare Protection Home Warranty today.

What’s covered?
Coverage varies depending on where you live and what plan fits your needs and budget. Items available for coverage typically include central air conditioning systems, central heating systems, kitchen appliances, clothes washer and dryer, plumbing system, electrical system and even swimming pool and spa equipment. Many of these items are included with the Premier Coverage which is our standard warranty plan. Additional optional coverages are available.
How is this different from a manufacturer warranty?
In new homes, the manufacturer warranty covers the failed part but not the necessary labor for proper repair or installation after the first year of ownership. If your appliances have a manufacturer warranty on them, Evercare Protection may help provide the peace of mind manufacturer warranties don’t by covering both parts and labor. When you are covered with Evercare Protection, you have one plan, one low premium and one number to call for service.
Do I need a home inspection before I enroll?
No. Evercare Protection Warranty does not require a home inspection in order to enroll for a home warranty. However, covered items must be properly maintained and in good working condition at the time of purchasing warranty in order to qualify for coverage. Pre-existing conditions are not covered under the Evercare Protection Warranty plan.
How long does the Evercare Protection Warranty coverage last?
The Evercare Protection Warranty contract is in effect for 3 years.
What do I do if I have a mechanical failure?
Contact us by calling 1-888-657-6481 before you contact a repair company. Knowledgeable, customer service representatives are ready to help you.
Will Evercare Protection provide a service contractor for my repair?

Is there a service fee?

The service fee applies to all approved costs, including service call charges. If multiple visits are required for the same repair, you will not be charged an additional trade service fee.
